About Us

After several years driving trucks and building stock crates, Bruce Dickinson decided to start his own business in Dubbo in 1969. With the support of his wife Helen, Bruce bought his own truck and started Bruce Dickinson Transport. He quickly gained the trust of sheep and cattle owners through the Dubbo district, proving to be a trustworthy and reliable transport operator.

Over the years, Bruce has expanded the business and was joined by his son Wayne, also a dedicated livestock transport driver and expert behind the wheel. Wayne has operated the business since 1984 and is supported in the Dubbo office by his brother, Craig.

As one of the leading livestock transport businesses in regional NSW, Bruce Dickinson Transport is a dedicated, family-operated business, servicing rural and regional Australia. It is centrally located in Dubbo, in the heart of the Orana region and close to the multi-million dollar Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets.

Operating for more than 50 years, the Dubbo saleyards is the largest saleyards in the nation in terms of combined sheep and cattle throughput, with more than 1.3 million sheep and 200,000 cattle sold each year.
